Ocean trout and watercress on Bürgen® Rye

Ingredients

  • 100 g smoked ocean trout
  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp capers finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber finely sliced
  • 1 cup watercress

Method

  • Combine cream cheese, capers and chives.  Spread evenly over 4 slices of bread. Top with two slices with ocean trout, cucumber and watercress and top with the other slice of bread. Can also be served as open sandwiches.
