Healthy Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup reduced fat milk or milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup water hot
  • vanilla essence or cinnamon to taste
  • low GI honey drizzle to taste, if desired

Method

  • In a mug, add hot water and cocoa and stir with a teaspoon to combine.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence. Mix well.
  • Microwave for 45 seconds to one minute or until heated.
  • Add a drizzle of honey and stir.
